Mobile Strength and ConditioningAfter 2 years of hard work, I have upgraded my qualifications to include a Diploma of Sport and Fitness from the University of the Sunshine Coast. What this means for those in the Gympie and Cooloola region is that in the next few weeks I will begin offering mobile strength and conditioning (personal training).

I have been a competitive elite athlete for over half my life in multiple sports therefore I bring a wealth of experience. As a parent I understand the time pressures of family life, and understand your limited time is valuable. Extensive and ongoing study allows me to provide up to date training based on science. I have a focus on injury prevention because I have seen first hand how debilitating and life changing injuries can be. Understanding your goals, therefore training is exactly that, personal. Training is adapted to your ability.

Your first training session

Your first training session will include:

  • General health questionnaire because we both need to know that it is safe to train.
  • Secondly, a functional movement screen (FMS)
  • Discuss your training likes and dislikes, there is more than one way to achieve results.
  • Goal setting because goal provide motivation and measurable targets.
